Hope
Because I have a belief that awakens a fierceness within me, I know we will accomplish everything that Jesus has called us. I’m not just talking about tasks, I’m referring to a character and a nature that is demonstrated in a way that looks Jesus.
When Jesus told us to guard our hearts, I believe it was an invitation into having such a wise, humble, teachable, peaceful and loving disposition that no fear could pervert who we are. The Author of Life went on to say that all the issues surrounding our lives are coming from what we have allowed to influence our inner most being. Our hearts.
Men have historically pushed emotions down and hardened their hearts in an attempt to be strong. Eventually they just stop feeling anything. It’s time to resurrect and see men become fully alive. Aware of what is going on inside of them, courageous enough to feel and equipped to know what to do with it.
Today, Colton and I travel to Graham, TX with Jason Vallotton to take part in the first “Born Wild Men’s Weekend” at the Wildcatter Ranch and Lodge. This is the beginning of what I believe the next season of our life is going to be about. Joining Holy Spirit in the fulfillment of the promise that the “hearts of fathers would be turned to their children and children to their fathers. “ (Malachi 4:6)
This is the hope that we carry as we set out to do our part in winning this battle. Jesus didn’t give His life so this planet would suffer through and end in despair. He gave it all so an orphaned planet could become a world of believers that live like sons and daughters of The King!
We have wisdom from above that is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable. It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form.
Will you join us in praying for the men who will gather, as Our Father re-ignites their heart! Thank you for sending us…
Todd
