I’ve never got involved in politics or mainstream media hypes. However, after a week of Born Wild events in prisons that ended with the PBR in NYC, I have enough perspective in me that I need to respond…

I don’t have an opinion on who or what is right, but I believe that division is always a threat to our nation. I also believe that the fight against social injustice must continue. My request is that none of us be quick to pick a side that would minimize all that our flag represents to one issue. I’ve been in many other nations and I hope to live a life that would honor the opportunity to be in a nation where I can choose. Jesus was the one who designed freedom, and I pray that honor would be understood to such a level that we can dispute our differences and still value what has been purchased for us through the sacrifices of others. “One nation under God”…Pray!
